1 · At a glance
All of these are available to every customer at checkout. Pick whichever you already trust — the price is identical on all of them, and we never add a surcharge for any payment method.
2 · Cards
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Diners Club — credit and debit — are accepted directly at checkout. Enter the details on the payment step and you're done; there's no account to create.
Card payments are processed by our payment provider, not by us. The card number goes from your browser to the processor over an encrypted connection — it never touches our servers and no one at TERVELIO can see it. See Security below.
3-D Secure
Depending on your bank, you may be asked to confirm the payment in your banking app or with a one-time code. That step is your bank's, not ours — it protects the card, and it's normal on first orders and international purchases.
3 · Express checkout
Apple Pay & Google Pay
If your device supports them, both appear as one-tap buttons at checkout. Your card details stay inside your wallet — we receive a single-use token, never the card itself, and your shipping address fills in automatically.
Shop Pay
Shop Pay remembers your details across every store that uses it. First order: tick the box to save your info. Every order after: a one-time code by SMS and you're through checkout in seconds.
4 · PayPal
Choose PayPal at checkout and you'll hop to PayPal's own site to approve the payment, then land back here with the order confirmed. Useful if you'd rather not type card details anywhere, or you keep a PayPal balance.
- Pay from your PayPal balance, linked bank account, or any card in your PayPal wallet.
- No PayPal account? Most regions offer a guest card payment on PayPal's page.
- Refunds go back the way they came — a PayPal payment is refunded to PayPal, typically visible within a few days.
5 · Bank transfer — trade orders
For wholesale and trade orders (from 5 units), we accept payment by bank transfer against a proforma invoice. It's the normal route for shops and installers who need an invoice for their books.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1 · Quote | Email us your list and quantities; you get a proforma invoice with the exact total and our account details. |
| 2 · Transfer | Pay by domestic transfer (US) or international wire. Reference the invoice number on the payment. |
| 3 · Ships | The order is picked as soon as the transfer clears — we'll confirm receipt the day it lands. |
6 · Currency, taxes & your statement
- All prices are in US dollars. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts at its own rate — the checkout shows USD and your statement shows your currency.
- Sales tax is calculated at checkout where required and shown as its own line before you pay. On international orders, import duties are separate and are the buyer's responsibility — details in the shipping policy.
- You're charged when the order is placed, not when it ships. If we can't fulfil something, you get the money back, not store credit — see returns & refunds.
- On your statement the charge appears as TERVELIO. If you don't recognise a charge, email us before disputing it — we can identify it in minutes.
7 · Security
Checkout runs entirely over encrypted connections, and card processing is handled by our payment provider under PCI DSS — the card industry's security standard. In practice:
- Your card number goes to the processor, never to us. We couldn't read it if we wanted to — and we don't want to.
- Wallet payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay) use single-use tokens, so even the processor never sees your underlying card on those.
- We store what an order needs — name, address, what you bought — and nothing about how you paid beyond the method and the last four digits the processor reports. Full details in the privacy policy.
8 · If a payment is declined
Declines come from the card side, not from us — and the checkout usually can't see the reason. The fixes, in the order that usually works:
- Re-check the number, expiry, security code and billing ZIP — the billing address must match what the bank has on file.
- Watch for a 3-D Secure prompt from your banking app that may have appeared and timed out.
- International purchases are a common auto-block — a quick approval in your banking app or a call to the bank clears it.
- Still stuck? Try PayPal or a wallet — different rails, and they often go through when a straight card entry won't. Or email us with what the checkout said.
